Subject: [GIFT] Share Holder Meeting

You still waiting for me to tell you about SMMEs?

Hey Putmore, don't you remember what you said?,  Let me quote you  :-)

"am tied up with my assignments now ill tell you wen m free"

So you see Mr Putmore! ...'tis I waiting upon YOU!  Patiently I might add

Moving on...

(1)  WHEN IS THE NEXT SHARE HOLDER MEETING ?

Nice question, Putmore!  I really like your emphasis on "share holder".

The short answer is "ASAP!"  Now you might have supposed that ASAP means, "As soon as possible..."  WRONG!  What it ACTUALLY means is:

You set the time and place, and Peter Zulu will be there !

MarbleTonic HAS to meet soon!  In my re-enthuse letter, I stated that MarbleTonic will succeed, "with or without" the current directors of this project

What does this mean?  It means that I want you to try get everyone together, but do not panic if you simply cannot get everyone pinned down to a meeting.  We have far to many irons-in-the-fire to be overly-concerned if someone is not at the next meeting

Here is something I pointed out to gift months ago...
"What if GIFT wants the members of the board to put in tonnes-and-tonnes of effort into making things work, but the members of the board are unable to find the time and/or inclination to make things work?  In this case it should be quite reasonable to minute that GIFT wants (needs?) effort, but that the (current) members are not able to deliver"
Think about it!  GIFt, now under the name of MableTonic, is itching to move  ...and GIFt wants to know where we stand

I know Romano is ready to meet, but I have not heard from Franzel or Reinier yet.  See what you can do!  Get hold of them, and rekindle their interests. We can meet anytime this coming week, Monday to Friday, EXCEPT Wednesday morning

Get a venue as well!  We'll probably need at least three hours.  Perhaps a lecture room at collage? ...after all, this is still a "class project", isn't it?

Try get our venture capitalists there as well!  Matthys and Nomuti.  We'll just keep them for the first hour, before we get onto the directorship issues of GIFt.  (You'll see I have sent a copy of this letter to everyone except Nomuti.  That's because I do not have Nomuti's email address.  Could someone get it for me?)

Don't forget:  Get everyone to start feeding me items for the agenda!  I have plenty of material to present to the share holders and the members of the board, but I would prefer to work off an agenda setup by the Board of Directors

Will the members of GIFt get PAID for attending this meeting?  Have another look at our profit sharing page!

(2)  HOW TO GROW A SMME !

The short answer is "EASY"!  Later, we will open up the FIVE points I put to you.  The first question we'll ask is "How much of each?"  For example, "How much MONEY do we really need?"  <<< WATCH THIS SPACE

The longer answer to your question is more tangible, and this is what I want you to do:
  1. Watch someone else's SMME  <<<< Watch MarbleTonic !
  2. Help someone else grow a SMME  <<<< Build MarbleTonic !
  3. Forge partnerships with other SMMEs  <<<<  Use MarbleTonic !
  4. Re-think what "SMME" means to YOU  <<<<  Analyse MarbleTonic !
  5. Re-invent the SMMEs you are involved in  <<<<  (re-)Design MarbleTonic !
We have a number of opportunities in front of us right now!  First, let us bring these opportunities into focus.  Then, once we are sure that we are doing the right things, we will put effort into growing our SMMEs

Looking forward to the next GIFt meeting !
